DCG Rebrand

Client

DCG Communications

Art Direction, Graphic Design

About the project

From concept to final delivery, I developed the final logo and collaborated with another designer to give the DCG brand a more modern and appropriate personality for the company.

The logo before and after: the old all-caps DCG at left, an arrow, then the new lowercase navy dcg wordmark. The lowercase dcg wordmark reversed out in white on a deep blue-to-lime gradient. The refreshed dcg homepage on a laptop: a “Your story matters.” hero, a four-icon capability row, case-study cards and a federal client logo strip.
Pages from the dcg brand book: a gradient cover reading “Brand book — Doers. Communicators. Get it done-ers.” beside spreads on strategy, capabilities, colour and brand elements.
Kristen holding a navy dcg tumbler, wearing a dcg “Your story matters” sweatshirt.
The rebranded dcg mark as a die-cut sticker on a laptop lid.
Brand slide: the dcg wordmark with its construction grid and seal, beside a navy panel reading “Telling your story because it matters.” Brand slide built from photographs of dcg staff captioned “doers.”, “communicators.”, “get it done-ers.” and “dcg-ers.”, beside a web panel reading “Telling your story to inspire change.” Brand applications: staff headshots, a “What can we do for you?” capability graphic, an email signature, a capability statement sheet and the site on a phone.
